Or you could be after something with a travel lock (if you’re a bit of a jet setter) and a skin massager (if you have a sensitive scalp). The 100 waterproof design with skin soothing aloe-infused massage strip gives you the freedom to shave dry, in the shower, and with or without shaving. You might want a mix of clipper choices, for instance, or additional grooming attachments. You might just want something simple and straightforward, but you would be amazed at how many men’s head shavers come with clever additional accessories or features. If you like a traditional grip, for instance, you might choose a shaver with a traditional barber clipper design and if you prefer a palm grip, going for a skull shaver-style shape might be the best option. Design & shapeĬhoosing the best head shaver design depends on your level of hand-eye coordination, your palm size, and your personal preferences. So, as a minimum requirement, look for head shavers with at least 60 minutes of use time and a simple battery charging system, with USB charging a great option. Shaving your head shouldn’t take too long, but by opting for a header shaver with at least 60 minutes of solid battery life, you will be able to enjoy multiple grooming sessions between charges. If you come across a head shaver without any form of wet and dry flexibility, you should probably look elsewhere. Now that you’re through our best head shaver list, we’re going to help you cement your decision by telling you what to look for in your perfect dome grooming product. What To Look For When Looking For The Best Head Shaver If you’re after an electric shaver, this probably isn’t for you.I am not someone who spends a lot of time shopping for grooming products – you can imagine how happy I was to see that Freebird (you might know them by their former name, Freedom Grooming) has curated kits that take all the work out of this! I grabbed their Best Buzz Kit, which included my FlexSeries shaver, a fresh blade, shaving cream, pre-shave oil, after-shave lotion, head wipes with witch hazel and aloe vera, multiple tool heads, and more for a complete routine.įreebird’s shaver is smooth, fast, and inexpensive in comparison to the Skull Shaver, so it wins in my book. Freebird’s blade refill starts at $17.95 and you can choose between 4, 6, 8, and 10-week delivery options, so you’re never without a fresh smooth shave. The Silver and Gold options honestly felt like the same exact shaver just with different cosmetic treatments.įreebird only has one razor ($69.95) – the FlexSeries – which I appreciated from a simplicity standpoint. It was not exactly clear to me what the differences were to justify the varying prices. Their base-level razor starts at $49.99 but you can also choose their Silver ($109.99), Gold ($139.99), or Platinum ($249.99) options. Which, honestly, I found a little confusing.

Much like with the blades, Skull Shaver has multiple razors to choose from.

I still can’t tell what’s best: Is it 3-blades, 4-blades, 5-blades… 7-blades? For me, Freebird's head couldn’t be any better, but the variety is definitely there with Skull Shaver. Freebird only has the signature 5-blade head, and although it works great (seriously!), I can imagine some guys out there have specific preferences for blade count. Skull Shaver’s blade variety really stands out for me with 3, 4, or 5 blade count choices. Be ready in no time at all Most Blade Variety: Skull Shaver
